Dr. Sara Ragsdale recently relocated to Newport after living and practicing in Fort Scott, KS for 6 ½ years. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate degree. She then went to the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (now the Kansas City College of Medicine and Bioscience), where she earned her medical degree. She completed her residency in family practice at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

 Dr. Ragsdale practices the full spectrum of family medicine, with an emphasis on women’s health, pediatrics and obstetrics.

 In her spare time, Dr. Ragsdale loves to spend time with her husband and three sons. She also enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, gardening and reading.
