Dr. David Murray, who completed his medical residency in New York City and was a Trauma Surgery Fellow at Baltimore Shock Trauma Center, has an extensive background in trauma surgery and is a board certified general surgeon. After completing his surgical fellowship, Dr. Murray served as a Major in the United States Air Force and received the Meritorious Service Medal in 1999 for caring for a severely burned F-16 pilot. While stationed in McConnell, AFB, his tour of duty also included deployments in Japan and Sri Lanka. Dr. Murray has also traveled extensively in the Far East and Central America.

Dr. Murray is originally from Connecticut and has lived more recently in Oregon after completing a general surgery rotation at Oregon Health Sciences University in order to re-sit for his oral boards which were delayed due to his military assignments..
